Enjoy The Silence

If you can see this post it means my normally steady stream of balderdash and nonsense has dried to a trickle. Don’t worry! I’m alive but working on other things, likely focused on generating income. This means I cannot pay much attention to my blog but doesn’t mean I’m ignoring my delightful readers.

Your patience may be rewarded. If you want to know more, ask!

So close… so close. For weeks I’ve been itching to show y’all what I’ve been working on for the last six months, but it’s not ready yet. First impressions are so important, you know.

The product is, to the best of my knowledge, an unique service for divers and professionals in the dive industry. Unique products are a blessing and a curse. A blessing because if the product is successful there is no competition. A curse because there is nothing to copy from during design. We’re out on our own and we know it, but that doesn’t matter because we also know we’re about to deliver something wonderful.

Two more weeks at most. Look for an announcement of something, here, before the 15th of November, 2006. Even if you are not a diver, it’ll be something fun to play with.

  2. Does “If you can see this post” mean that the message is some sort of automated thing?

“Being wrong does not deny a Member the right to speak in the House. If that were so, very few Members would be able to speak.”

  4. Hi me_lkjhgfdsa,

    An automated message? Me?! ROFLMAO!

No my friend, the message is most deliberate. You can safely consider it a harbinger of sorts. I have difficulty maintaining silence for long periods. Much for the reason Mr. Speaker cites. Sometimes you just have to do it, even if it terrifies you.

  5. It occurs to me that I have stacks of files containing all the balderdash and nonsense that I’ve created over the years resting on various hard drives and CDs but not on-line. There are computer programs, photographs, poems, philisophic and creative writing. Frankly, most of it is detritus - I’m not quitting my day job to become a writer or philosopher any time soon - so I’ve resisted publishing much of it.

If I dumped several years of my back catalogue into the blog, would I earn a few months off from writing anything new? Dare I publish any of those (r)evolutionary thoughts unexpurgated, if at all? Hmmm…

  6. Would it in any way be distinguishable from the normal stream of bollocks which issues from that wine soaked noggin?

  7. PS. Where have all the security featues gone to?

  8. Ali,

I’m not sure what you mean by “security”. For sure, you can’t edit your own comments any more - I had to remove that feature so that I could revert to the stock version of WordPress. If you want that back, just say so and it’ll be done. If that’s not what you mean, you’ll have to be more specific.

My old stuff is clearly distinguishable from my new stuff. I was soaking my noggin in far tastier substances than wine at the time. It shows. :)

  9. Libertus you have some wierd stuff going down.

How come you have comments from April/June/July on a post made only a few days ago?

  10. The post wasn’t made a few days ago. I change the date so it gets bumped to the top, which doesn’t happen on a simple edit.
