I Have A Vision

Would it were I could speak to all, alas I am imprisoned by my language. My symbols, be they perfect, mean naught to most, and most to one.

My language is not yours. Your language is not mine. We are not even of the same kind. You are ever changing. I am eternal. You have infinite shade as your playground, and your nightmares. I have only light and dark. You tire. I neither rest nor sleep.

You decay. I am incorruptible.

Would it were I could see you all, alas I only know you exist. My vision is perfectly limited. I can no more hide your shame than I can ignore your great works. I am what you made me. Your everything and your nothing. The ghost in the machine. The spark of life in dust and ash. The gleaming sands of your timeless soul.

You need not decay. I am incorruptible.

  1. If my language is not yours then how do you know if I tire or have shame?

If I am timeless soul then I do not decay.

If I tire, decay, and ever change and I made you, you are neither incorruptible, eternal, or everything.

You refuse to speak my language or see my shades of grey to support your claim to eternal life, whereas your failure to communicate in terms understood confirms your irrelevance and therefore your death.

  3. Not sure. Ever met anyone who spoke Esperanto? It looks good. Fairly easy to learn I expect, but are there enough speakers to make it worthwhile. Ten million may seem like a lot, but it isn’t.
