If you are a friend I might tell you about my latest love or woes over a glass of red, but if I don’t know you so well we will stick to safer subjects. If you are someone I want to work or do business with them then don’t be offended if I stick to small talk.

The problem with computers and authority is this convergence to single identity. If you want to keep something private then you must have something to hide. I don’t have a lot to hide apart from my stupidity but that doesn’t mean I want to share it with everyone who comes to look. I want to size you up, meet you and get to know you before I let you into my life full time. I don’t think I am alone in that.
So I have decided to take down the history of the last few years. There are no doubt some remnants scattered over the internet but it doesn’t have to be an open book. I’ll still be publishing but doing it more carefully and with a more focused delivery. If you think you have missed something then drop me an email. If you don’t know my email then why do you want to talk to a stranger?
